Masaya Okamoto

BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1995.　A playwright, theater director, and filmmaker. With a focus on theater and video and crossing various cultures, he has released many mixed-media works in a pop, prosaic style that makes full use of pastiche. Won the Kanagawa Short Theater Award 2021 grand prize for "Reverse Bolero", as writer and director. His first film, "Dancing with Ray", was selected for the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2021. He is expected to remain active in both theater and film.
