I started directing and shooting when I was 8. Carrying the old fashioned VHS over my arm, directing my brother and cousins, writing the script and adding subtitles and music. Though in those days, there were no computer games or mobile phones to distract me (!) and we lived in Australia, near a creek on open bush land in Cabramatta, where there was little else to do. After completing a PhD in Toxicology and lecturing at The University of Sydney I wrote academically and then did a short stint at the BBC as a researcher. I did some documentaries and then had to pay the bills and become a theatrical agent and owned my business for more than 19 years. However, I did have a creative side, the lead in musicals at school and singer/keyboard player in bands whilst studying. The past few years, I realise I still have a huge passion for story telling, so here I am, producing 'Musketeer' and most recently directing, writing and producing, 'Queen of Parks'.
