She was born in 1981 in Istanbul. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Communication and Arts Educational Schools of London acting academy, respectively. The actor, who is a dual citizen of England and Turkey, has been operating in the fields of Cinema, TV, theater, play translation and voice-over since 2000. She appeared on the stage in more than 20 plays in London, Edinburgh and Istanbul, translated more than 12 plays into Turkish. In 2020, she won the Best Actress award at the 39th Istanbul FF with the movie “Love, Spells and all that” and the Best Actress awards at the Malatya, Antakya, Nurnberg film festivals and the Sadri Alışık award ceremony in 2016 with the movie “Çekmeceler”, and was nominated for Siyad award. She has been a board member of the Actors Syndicate since 2019. Gender equality is responsible for the anti-harassment and mobbing unit and Susma Bitsin collaborates with Women in Performing Arts platforms. She became the representative of Fenerbahce sports club for the week against violence against women, in collaboration with Un Woman and He for She. Dizdar continues to work in cooperation with many non-governmental organizations to prevent male violence and raise awareness of gender equality in the sector.
