Batuhan Ibrahim is a young but already proven filmmaker. His cultural and aesthetic background, as well as the experience and knowledge he acquired at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, at Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where he graduated and finished master studies in Film and TV Directing with an excellent results, as well as numerous film and TV projects on which he has worked on in the past years, are a sufficient indication of the success he achieves with his short independent films so far. He’s awarded as the best graduate student in the academic year 2019/20 at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius", and at the same time he is the winner of the honorary award "July 26" for the best student in the academic year 2019/20 in the field of architecture, social sciences and arts. From 2020 is an active Assistant Professor in the Department of Film and TV Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. In 2022 begins his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. He is currently working on his debut short film "The Big Night" which is supported by the North Macedonia Film Agency. Also he is on pre production for his first feature documentary film “The Water”
