Azin Feizabadi

BIOGRAPHIE

Azin Feizabadi is an Iranian-born Berlin based filmmaker, visual artist & film curator. His fiction feature debut UCHRONIA premiered in 2019, the same year his book AFTER CINEMA – FICTIONS FROM A COLLECTIVE MEMORY was published by Archive Books. His latest short film IN TRANSIT has premiered at CPH:DOX 2023 and was nominated for the German Film Critics Association Award 2023. He has screened, staged, published and exhibited his works at The Guggenheim Museum New York, Berlinale Forum Expanded, MMK Frankfurt, International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, HKW Berlin, Maxim Gorki Theater, Museum Ostwall Dortmund, Sharjah Biennial UAE, Queens Museum New York, Savvy Contemporary Berlin, et al. Azin Feizabadi is a member of the Berlinale Shorts selection committee since 2020 and the Berlinale Panorama since 2024.
