Marcella C. DE FINIS (Brazil) has co-directed three short films with Clara Ferrer, always telling stories about the complexities of relationships between women. De Finis lives in Brasília, Brazil, and graduated from Fluminense Federal University, where she studied Filmmaking. Her previous short films, If You Were Dead (2016) and Ana’s Home (2017), were widely distributed in Brazil, exhibited in film festivals, cable TV and VOD. De Finis’ first solo project as a director, The Incredible Tale of the Spiritless Man (2019), won the Best Female Director award at the The São Paulo Times Film Festival and the Best Student Film award at the Hollywood Verge Film Awards, among others.
