BIOGRAPHIE

Terence Li is a filmmaker, photographer and mixed-media artist based in Berlin and Hong Kong. Interweaving fictional, documentary and performative elements, Li’s works probe into ambiguities in visual narratives; they shed light on the inner space-time of the queer, the displaced and the marginalised. He won the Hong Kong Human Rights Art Prize 2021 with the documentary short “Green Walls”. His films and video works have also been shown in the Barbican’s Chronic Youth Film Festival 2020 in the UK and the 17th Fresh Wave Film Festival in Hong Kong.
