BIOGRAPHIE

Chung Wong, whose video works combine experimental-documentary, field recordings and stop-motion. Her previous work ‘building blocks’ has been shortlisted at South Taiwan Film Festival, and awarded jury recommendations in ifva and festival du cinéma de Brive. Based on the concept of juxtaposition of sound and visual, her works favourable in fragmented documentary structures, intuition and various feelings cultivated in life. The unique local noise rhythm and subtle sudden sounds are used to edit the experiencer's consciousness narrative. Supported by Soundpockets' Artists Supporting Program, she developed project ‘a secluded trail towards an unoccupied ___' which explored soundscapes, birds and trails previously.
