Leon Liu

BIOGRAPHIE

Leon Liu graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at NCHU. He immersed himself in the art of classical literature and modern drama, directing many one-act plays during his studies. In recent years, he has been a full-time screenwriter and has participated in many short films, moving towards directing. Liu is deeply passionate about delving into the "fragile real self after unveiling the glossy mask." His first short film, "A Mukbang to Remember," depicts the blurred boundaries between real and virtual worlds. It was shortlisted for the 44th Golden Harvest Awards in Taiwan. His latest work, "An Ineffable Addiction," explores cult culture and leads the audience to see the naked agony of all beings hidden beneath glamorous appearances.
