BIOGRAPHIE

Soner Küçük was born on June 10, 2002 in Tekirdağ. After studying Information Technologies in high school, he decided to study cinema thanks to his desires for cinema, making films and creating a visual world. Soner Küçük, a third-year student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Cinema and Television, defines cinema as follows: “The way they exist in the society we live in gives rise to the things they want to tell. Cinema is the most suitable space for the stories he wants to tell in his process of existence. Because humans exist through what they see, hear and feel. Cinema also shows you, makes you hear and makes you feel.” During this period, he was influenced by many different writers and directors. In terms of storytelling, Faulkner and Dostoyevsky are the writers he is most influenced by. Kiarostami and Martin McDonagh were among the directors who inspired him the most in the cinema process that he wanted to create with stories that were minimal but completely from our lives.
