BIOGRAPHIE

(b. 1996, Colorado) (he/him) Hunter Gause is a writer and director based in New York City. Currently, his work revolves around labor and learning disabilities. Beginning his career in theatre, his work was seen at Times Square Arts, Art Frieze, The Tank, Movement Research, and Dixon Place. Hunter assisted directors at New York Theatre Workshop and Prelude Festival. He has twice been a guest teacher at Marymount Manhattan College. Additionally, he was awarded a Stage Directors and Choreographers Observership twice. Hunter’s interests extend to fashion, he’s made commercials for young fashion designers and photographed Paris Fashion week. To learn filmmaking, he crewed on film sets. Additional training includes a Certificate in Filmmaking from NYU Yellowbrick. More training includes apprenticing with screenwriter & playwright Robert Schenkkan, Sundance Co//ab, Union Docs & fine art classes at Pratt Insitute. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting and Directing from Marymount Manhattan College. "All the Words on the Page" is his narrative filmmaking debut.
