Ellis Özen

BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1996, Istanbul, Ellis Kaan Özen is a Turkish-American writer and director. While attending the 'School of Visual Arts' he made 'Ruins of Castle Island', a short film that played across international festivals. His first film after graduating, 'Three Kisses' is based on stories from his life and family. It examines themes like fear of the 'other', family and the many peculiar ways we choose to love one another.
