Frankie Berge is an emerging queer artist and filmmaker from Aotearoa (New Zealand) . Her interests have always gravitated towards the female and queer experience, as that is the community she most identifies with. Her work weaves poetic imagery, performance and sound into hyper-surreal stories, frequently underlined by dark comedy. After graduating from Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School with a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts, Frankie went on to create films and art under the name Slow Punch. Her grand desire is to shift and challenge our visions of perceived reality, offering an alternative more poetic and sensory lens to the conversation.
