Ale and Carla are a Mexican director duo. As producer and screenwriter, they stands out with their films: BARBAROUS MEXICO II (Sitges Midnight X-treme, Mar del Plata, Fantaspoa, Fantasporto, Morbido, Feratum, Macabro); THIS IS NOT BERLÍN (Málaga, Sundance, Tribeca, Sebastiane Latino Award at San Sebastián, BFI London, TIFF, Morelia); AFTER YOU (Guadalajara, Mérida); LONELY STARS (FICG, Ícaro, Exground, Mardi Gras); DEAD MAN’S HAND (Chicago Latino, Pyongyang, Dehli, Tripoli-Lebanon); DAYS OF WINTER (Guanajuato, Gramado, London Week). They've won Silver Biznagas in Málaga and the International Gold Panda Award in China. They have been nominated to international awards such as the Arieles in Mexico and the Glaad Awards in USA. They've attended to WIP as: Blood Window, Los Cabos, Ibermedia, Mafici and Bolivia Lab. In 2023, they directed their 1st horror-comedy short: DON’T TELL DAD. Currently, they are in the development of their first feature film: THE WOMAN WHO DREAMT UNDERWATER that was selected in Blood Window Fant.Latina 2023.
