Jon Vatne is a versatile producer-director with a Master's degree in documentary directing from Lillehammer, Norway, and The New School University in New York. He began his career with short documentaries like “The Psychonaut” (2015) and "Polyfonatura" (2019). Recently, he's transitioned to fiction filmmaking, resulting in the prize-winning film "Headwind" (2021), which earned a Grand Prix nomination at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Vatne also produced the short documentary "Train Robbers" (2019) by director Martin Walther, which was also nominated for Grand Prix at Clermont-Ferrand (2020). Currently he balances directing and producing various fiction and documentary projects in both short and feature-length formats.
