Marcus Vinicius Vasconcelos is a partner and founder of Teremim Studio, a 2D animation production company based in Brazil, where he works as a producer, screenwriter, director, and animator. His short films have been selected by dozens of festivals around the world, including Annecy, Havana, Hiroshima, and Melbourne. These films have received significant awards, such as Best Animation at the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema (Havana - 2016) and Best Short Film at the festivals of Brasília and Rio, among others. Marcus has also collaborated on projects such as the short film "Torre" (Nádia Mangolini, 2017), awarded Best Short Film by the Audience and Critics at the Gramado Film Festival (2018); and the feature film "The Boy and the World" (Alê Abreu, 2014), which has won over 40 awards worldwide, including Best Feature Film at Annecy (2014) and the Annie Awards (2016), and was nominated for an Oscar (2016). Currently, he is dedicated to the development and production of short films, feature films, and series.
