Sofia Esteve Santonja

BIOGRAPHIE

Sofia, Marina and Isa are screenwriters, directors and editors of fiction and documentary films. Deeply interested in women's historical memory under the Francoist dictatorship, they have directed the short documentary Gaps (2024). Other previous works include the short film candidate for the Goya Awards Eternal Happiness (2022, Isa Luengo and Sofia Esteve); The Interior City (2017, Isa Luengo, Jorge Moneo and Andrea Ballesteros), premiered at IDFA and selected in Málaga; as well as a new television format named Follo Ergo Sum (2016-2018, Sofia Esteve and Marina Freixa), broadcasted on Betevé.
