BIOGRAPHIE

Arshia Shakiba studied digital film production and graduated from the Toronto Film School. He began his professional career as a director and cinematographer on a number of award-winning short films and music videos. He recently directed and filmed the short documentaries The Guests and Who Loves the Sun (in post-production). Arshia is currently filming his first feature-length documentary Sleepless in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada. For ROJEK, Roger Deakins awarded him and Nicolas Canniccioni the Best Cinematography Award at Mirage Festival (Norway) Filmography Who Loves the Sun / Short / 2024 The Guests / Short / 2018
