I am a Brazilian/Irish writer and director. My formative years were spent in the depths of the theatre world. With first foray into film directing coming in the form of Vegetable, a 12 minute Irish language zombie oner. Vegetable toured both nationally and internationally before being most recently seen on RTÉ’s Shortscreen. It garnered numerous awards as well as a Rising Star nomination for myself at the Underground Film Festival Dublin. Following that, I wrote/directed Superhuman and Croí. Both of which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh and are went on to screen at numerous festivals. I was nominated for an Emerging Director Award in Ireland for Croí. I continue to direct theatre work, most recently directing aerial artist Chloe Commins in Resonance at the Dublin Fringe Festival. A story of growing up CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) told through Irish Sign Language and Aerial Hoop.
