Jean-Sébastien Bernard Originally from Salon de Provence, I began a career as a news reporter and director for television. Simultaneously, I have been self-producing short films which I produce, write, and direct. From 2013 to 2022, I created several films within my collective, Les Films d'Antinea: "Phantasms of the Living" (42 selections including 7 awards, with one in CNC category 1) and "Mathilde 326" (14 selections). I continue to develop a distinctive filmography, flirting with the fantastic and paying particular attention to staging. My work has perfectly aligned with the editorial line championed by Insolence Productions, which produced my latest short film "The Wolf and the Cat." Released in May 2023, it has been selected at the MCM Festival, Off-Courts, Unifrance Prize, Huesca, and TISFF, among others. I am currently developing fiction projects and working on the script for my first feature film, co-written with Thibaut Desjardins.
