BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1993, in Belgium. Annechien Strouven is an artist, designer, animator, and film director. She studied audiovisual arts and animation film at KASK Gent and MAD-Faculty Genk (Belgium). In her work, she creates her own dreamy atmospheres and fascinating fictional worlds. Her illustrations and animations are primarily based on her own life experiences but with a touch of absurdity. As an animator, she has worked on the international animated feature films "La Sirene" and "Parfum d'Irak", as well as numerous short films such as "Spin & Ella", “Mozaiek” and “Carousel”.
