Amelia Eloisa

BIOGRAPHIE

Amelia Eloisa is a director, screenwriter and producer. In 2017, she premiered her fiction short film JULIA’S PIECE. Which selections included some of the most important diversity film festivals in the world such as OUTFEST, Cherié Cherié and Mix Brasil. Her first fiction feature film WE WILL NEVER BELONG (2022) obtained the Fund granted by the Jalisco Film Commission to finish its post-production and had its world premiere that same year at INSIDEOUT where it won the Audience Award. The film had a successful run at festivals including FICG, WFF and TLVFEST. In 2023 WE WILL NEVER BELONG was nominated for the “Diosas de Plata” for best first film and best female performance. She is a recipient of the Proyecta Production Fund granted by the Ministry of Culture to make the short film CENIZAS DE LECHE which is about to be released.
