Ali Sohail Jaura is an independent filmmaker from Karachi, Pakistan, renowned for his expertise in visual storytelling. His thesis film "Dry Leaves" has been an Official Selection at over 35 international film festivals. His most last short film, "Murder Tongue" has won 23 international awards, including "Best International Short Film" at the 39th Miami Film Festival, and has been screened at more than 60 film festivals, including five Oscar-qualifying festivals around the world. His most recent project is a groundbreaking short film shot in Seoul, South Korea, featuring a diverse cast of Korean and South Asian actors. This film marks the first independent Pakistani-funded collaboration with Korean filmmakers, further expanding Ali's international footprint and showcasing his commitment to cross-cultural storytelling.
