Hannah Bales, born in 1999 in Trier, Germany, is a writer and director who brings together her background in psychology and her passion for film. After earning her degree in Psychology, she decided to dive into filmmaking full-time, joining the BTS Cinéma Audiovisuel program in 2022. Her time spent in Seattle, among other experiences, has shaped her creative style, giving her films a fresh and dynamic edge. Hannah has directed several short films, including Terre Adélie (2024) and Man In Greige (2024), which marks her directorial debut supported by the Film Fund Luxembourg. In addition to directing, she's involved in screenwriting, with exciting projects like Nowhere to Go and Dendrophilia in the works. She's also passionate about making the film industry more inclusive, especially for women, and is committed to pushing for a more diverse and fair cinematic world.
