BIOGRAPHIE

Chilean filmmaker and producer. Studied Filmmaking at the University of Valparaíso (Chile), and at the National University of La Plata (Argentina). Co-founder of Grieta Cine along Gabriela Pena. As director he co-directed with Gabriela Pena the shortfilm 'Familia' - in distribution. Currently in postproduction of his first documentary feature 'Here, the Silence is Heard’, co-directed with Gabriela Pena. The project was selected at Sheffield Doc/Fest’s ‘MeetMarket’ and has been supported by international funds such as Sundance Institute, Chicken&Egg Pictures and Open City Documentary Festival. As producer, we worked on ‘Zoila’ (2021), first documentary feature by Gabriela Pena. It premiered nationally at SANFIC’s 2021 Chilean Feature Film Competition. Internationally at FIDBA’s 2021 Gender and Generations Competition (best film prize).
