Henry Ortega

BIOGRAPHIE

Henry Ortega is a Colombian political scientist and producer. He works as a researcher and producer for the think tank CINEP. There he directs and produces the short documentary ‘Peñas Coloradas: a displacement of no return’. He has produced two podcasts on music, borders and migration called ‘Polirritmia’ and ‘Andante’, both of which were awarded by the Colombian Ministry of Culture. Together with Santiago Ardila, for more than three years they have been working together in blending the insight of social sciences with the narrative and artistic power of cinema. Tinto is their first anthological documentary.
