BIOGRAPHIE

Born in Italy in 2000, Valentina Pietrarca studied screenplay at Civica “Luchino Visconti” cinema school in Milan, graduating in 2022. She collaborates as film critic with magazines filmidee and Spinosa and with Tafano Cinema organize the film exhibition INDOCILI, at Cinema Beltrade in Milan. Since 2022 she works as short film programmer for Molise Cinema (Casacalenda). In 2023 she moves to Rome, where she works as 1st and 2nd AD. She worked with film productions like Nightswim and Odense Film Workshop. In 2024 she shots her first, self-produced, short film L’Ornitologa. She’s part of the independent cinema collective Onirica.
