Sofia Athena

BIOGRAPHIE

Currently enrolled in Film school at Universidade São Judas Tadeu (USJT), Athena Sofia gained experience through the Oficinas Querô in 2019 and 2022. She specialized as a director and screenwriter with the short film “Helenas” (2019) and the documentary “Mulheres de Fé” (2019), where she worked as a screenwriter and cinematographer. She also served as the director and screenwriter for the independent documentary short film “Entre Nós” (2023) and as a screenwriter for the scripts “Carapaça” and “Fôlego”, developed in the script workshop project produced by Conexões Querô in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Her most recent project was as screenwriter and director for the fictional short film “Tia Morgana” (2024), produced by Querô Filmes and selected through the São Paulo State Cultural Action Program (ProAC).
