BIOGRAPHIE

Newcomer Thibaud J. Goarin was born and raised in Paris, France to a French father and Irish- American mother. A director at his core, Thibaud directed and fully produced his first film at age 14. He attended the renowned Eicar International Film School in Paris where he completed his second film Earl, which was an official selection in the best short film category at La Cinémathèque Française. Recently, Thibaud moved to Los Angeles and started at the bottom, working his way up to become a founding member of Glass Engine, a production company specializing in custom content for big studio pictures. As the head of post production, Thibaud works directly with major studios on their biggest titles including Universal, Warner Bros. and Amazon, among others. Thibaud’s latest film, Upeksha is a hymn that rose from the pressure cooker of last summer’s civil right’s movement following the murder of George Floyd, combined with the unprecedented worldwide pandemic. Upeksha was not only directed by Mr. Goarin but also created, written, produced and edited. Thibaud’s vision for his career is to create films that blend his French New Wave heritage with American cinema while telling stories that all people can relate to; stories that are authentic to the diversity and richness of the people on this planet. Currently, Mr. Goarin is working on several projects in development.
