Danae Mossman is a writer, curator, and director, whose interest lies in the intricate unseen forces and pressures that impact on women's experience. Her debut film, Monologue, reflects her passion for making women's stories visible, blending performance, painting, philosophy, and music to create a sensory experience from female subjectivity. As a contemporary art curator, Mossman has showcased ambitious artistic projects in New Zealand and internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, and through exhibitions of contemporary art in Australia, UK, and Chile.
