BIOGRAPHIE

Fall to Pieces marks my directorial debut, drawing deeply from my personal journey through addiction and recovery. Now clean for over 30 years, I aim to channel my experience through storytelling that seeks to illuminate difficult, often unspoken themes. After completing a Master’s in Creative Writing at Newcastle University, I turned my focus to filmmaking, with a particular passion for animation. I'm a lifelong fan of the medium since my childhood love of Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo, and have allways been fascinated by the emotional and artistic potential of animation—especially its ability to engage adult audiences with raw, complex subjects. Fall to Pieces is a culmination of that passion: a heartfelt, character-driven exploration of mental health, connection, and resilience.
