Daniel Pringle

BIOGRAPHIE

Dan produced the award-winning Silent Things starring Andrew Scott and the thriller Emulsion starring Outlander’s Sam Heughan before making the leap to writing and directing. His debut feature K-Shop released in cinemas in 2016 before being acquired by Sky Cinema. The film enjoyed critical success with The Times’ Kate Muir hailing him as ‘a filmmaker to watch out for’. His screenwriting on the film was acknowledged by the BIFAs’, and he has since worked with actress and executive producer Eva Green on the widely publicised A Patriot. The recently released Die Before You Die marks Dan’s second feature as writer/director and was dubbed “a Claustrophobic nightmare” by film critic Mark Kermode.
