Born in 2002, M. Dhaffa Attoriq is an Indonesian-Minangkabau director, writer, and producer. He graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran with a degree in Television and Film. His debut as a director was screened at Minikino Film Week 2024. Dhaffa’s films explore the intricate interplay of ideology, society, politics, and culture in Indonesia, delving into themes of family dynamics, power relation, resilience, and identity. While continuing to learn and refine his filmmaking skills, Dhaffa is developing his first feature film, A Mother’s Niqab. He represented this project during the Producers Lab Jakarta Film Week 2024.
