Ali Divsalar is an Iranian filmmaker who migrated to France with his family. He began his professional filmmaking career in Iran, focusing on participatory documentaries. After many years, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic brought him back to the world of filmmaking. During this period, he documented his personal and family experiences, reigniting his passion for creating films. Divsalar's works reflect his personal perspective on human challenges and the experience of life in times of crisis. The participatory approach continues to be a central theme in his future projects.
