SYNOPSIS

El and her four-year-old son Perry are befriended by Ken, a semi-derelict older man who takes a special interest in the passers-by. El is emotionally scarred by the recent departure of Perry's father. At night she drinks and makes obsessive phone calls to his new girlfriend.
