This experimental film not only investigates the issue of blame and responsibility with regard to the spread of hiv, it also deconstructs the sociological assumptions and the pretense of ‘objectivity’ of much documentary filmmaking. Meg, a white filmmaker, tries to trace the web of hiv infection in an underdeveloped ‘coloured’ area of cape town. She learns that her assumed objectivity is no guarantee of immunity.
