SYNOPSIS
Toufik is enthusiastic about chaffinches and travels hundreds of miles by bus throughout Algeria to catch this songbird. His expeditions challenge the fear of thousands of Algerians traumatised by deadly fake roadblocks. For Toufik, the chaffinch's song rests the mind and symbolises freedom.
