SYNOPSIS
In January 1906, Léo-Ernest Ouimet opens the first movie theatre in Quebec, the Ouimetoscope. He also acquires a camera and shoots newsreels that are shown at his cinema. This family short film, starring his children, is the oldest document, shot by a Quebecker, which has survived to this day.
