This film is a poetic exposition of the Singapore River seen through the eyes of an elderly man, Chia. Interspersed with the river's view of the Singapore's cityscape, the poignancy of the Hokkien folk tune, Chia recounts his life and his close links with the historic river.(This film is commissioned by the Singapore History Museum)
