SYNOPSIS

Rural Syria in the 1940s. An ageing war veteran is trying hard to convince his grieving family to get over the loss of his granddaughter who disappeared mysteriously a year ago. A village wedding promises a new start for the whole family, until a strange lady turns up unexpectedly one evening.
