SYNOPSIS

Driss has come to spend his holiday in Algiers. He finds his family, and the country of his childhood much changed. He meets Nedjma, a shy and reserved, distant cousin. His arrival makes her feel the need for independence and liberty. But she is betrothed to Amrane, Driss's cousin.
