SYNOPSIS
In Islam there is collective prayer used to summon the rain. Rain is the ultimate gift of God. In 1988, the Ministry for Religious Affairs of Bangladesh cancelled mass prayers for rain following the torrential downpours which killed nearly a hundred people.
