SYNOPSIS

Thérèse has lived in a convent all her life, imprisoned by nuns under the pretence of religion. Thérèse begins to dream of life outside her prison. She is given the blessing of motherhood. A conflict emerges, giving rise to the question: was it real or simply imagined?
