An art film that exhibits an anthropological style. It appropriates a personal version of the methodologies of direct cinema and ethnography to problematise the camera's role. Its account of a night at the greyhound track is self-consciously dispassionate. That is a problem in itself. The film is largely inaccurate, I believe.
