SYNOPSIS

Henry Walker, a retired railway clerk and lonely widower, prepares his flat for a game of chess between him and his old friend Thomas. Henry’s loneliness is only eased by Thomas' company, but today, as in a Greek tragedy, the Gods have decided otherwise.
