In 1979, the military dictatorship in Argentina closes the Casualidad, a sulfur mine situated in the middle of the Andes mountain chain at an altitude of 4200 meters. The two thousand inhabitants are forced to seek exile at the four corners of the country. A lone man remained at Casualidad, between ruins and memories, 200 kilometers away from the nearest town.
