SYNOPSIS

At death, the neurons in the brain misfire, resulting in memory flashbacks, out-of-body experiences, and visions of light at the end of the tunnel. But are these hallucinations just symptoms of the brain shutting down? Professor Martin Thomas has studied this phenomenon for his entire life. And he is about to find out.
