SYNOPSIS

Since 2000, every 1st of May, Pilar takes part in the demonstrations in Madrid. I found it interesting to see how she is there, taking photographs, mixing with the crowd. As she says: “To capture the instant as it is, wherever I am, without any aspiration other than to convey the pleasure of expression”. Spain is one of the countries that has been badly hit by the present financial crisis.
