SYNOPSIS

Woken in the middle of the night by a sound, Nancy tries in vain to rouse her husband, Cliff. Outside, she discovers that the noise is coming from a swinging gate. She encounters her neighbour, Sam, who is hunting for snails. We are drawn into a complicated conflict between the neighbours that began with a tragic event that tore their longstanding friendship apart.
