How could one imagine the GDR without having experienced it personally? The life of the inhabitants of the town of Halle is still marked by the division of the postwar German society and its consequences. Contradictions emerge between the nostalgia of a bygone era and the joy of the liberty attained after 1989. The film shows the battle of a theatre for children in danger of extinction.
